ZIPPER CHAIN

Chain refers to the teeth on continuous tape and is available in a variety of finishes and on various tapes. Teeth may be metal, coil or plastic. Chain is sold in hank put-ups of various lengths. Full rolls are also available by special order. The slider is specially engineered to work with the corresponding teeth and is available for purchase on the hardware page along with top and bottom stops. Chain cannot be retrofitted to a separating configuration.

Classic Metal Chain meets or exceeds the USA industry standard finish – buffed to remove burrs. Stock selections include:

#3 - Classic Teeth – (4.5 mm across)
#5 - Classic Plus Teeth – (6 mm across)
#8 - Heavy Classic Teeth – (8 mm across)
#10 - X-Heavy Classic Teeth – (9 mm across)

Euro-inspired Metal Chain features teeth subjected to an extensive polishing regiment that removes sharp edges and leaves a smooth sheen. A shiny coating is applied to some finishes for extra brilliance. Stock selections include:

#5 - Moyenne Teeth – (6 mm across)

Classic Coil Chain is the industry standard and the most common zipper available today. Basic one-color teeth and tape. Stock selections include:

#3 - Classic Teeth – (4 mm across)
#5 - Classic Plus Teeth – (6 mm across)
#8 - Heavy Classic Teeth – (7 mm across)
#10 - X-Heavy Classic Teeth – (10 mm across)

Metallic Coil Chain features metallic teeth and tapes. Stock selections include:

Water Resistant Coil Chain features a choice of Matte "Faux Leather Look" or Shiny "Slicker Look" PVC finish on the reverse side of the coil zipper. A reverse coil zipper is a normally visible coil where the pull is attached to the back side, thus making the back the front. It is flatter than an invisible zipper and meant to be applied to the outside of the project. May be welded in place to repel water or sewn on for a decorative look. Stock selections include:

#8 - Reverse Teeth – (7 mm across)
